The Aureum platform is a digital support infrastructure. It is not a regulated medical device under UK MDR 2002 or the Medical Devices Regulation. It does not provide medical advice, medical diagnosis, or medical treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your GP, call NHS 111, or in an emergency call 999.
The cognitive training tools, resilience programmes, and psychological exercises available on the platform are evidence-informed support tools. They are not substitutes for clinical assessment or treatment. They are designed to support wellbeing and build psychological capacity in non-clinical populations, or as structured between-session practice for individuals engaged in clinical care.
Psychologists and therapists available through the Aureum network are independently registered practitioners regulated by their respective professional bodies (e.g. the Health and Care Professions Council, British Psychological Society). They operate under their own professional obligations and code of ethics. Aureum facilitates the connection and provides infrastructure; the clinical relationship is between you and the practitioner directly.
The platform is not appropriate as a sole intervention for severe mental illness, acute psychiatric conditions, or crisis situations. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, self-harm urges, or a psychiatric emergency, please seek immediate professional support. Samaritans: 116 123 (free, 24/7). Crisis text line: text SHOUT to 85258.
While Aureum's tools and programmes are grounded in evidence-based clinical frameworks, individual outcomes will vary. Aureum does not guarantee specific clinical outcomes. Engagement with the platform is not a substitute for professional clinical assessment where that is indicated.
